Solution Integration Aligns with City Strategy for Greater Electronic Operations and Citizen Convenience

IRVINE, Calif.—June 29, 2021:  e-PlanSoft™, developer and provider of a leading cloud-based electronic plan review solution today announced the successful implementation and go-live of e-PlanREVIEW® (EPR) at the City of Enumclaw, Washington.

The addition of EPR complements the City’s Bitco PermitTrax permitting solution, to create an end-to-end permitting and plan review process through the integrated solutions.

The City made the selection to support its objectives to centralize plan review documents and gain transparency and improved tracking in the plan review process. The transition will optimize efficiency by automating manual processes, which will result in more expedient service to constituents. Before the integration of EPR with PermitTrax, the City had performed the plan review component of the process with traditional paper plan sets and workarounds using Adobe Acrobat Writer. It can now manage intake through its Bitco Citizens Connect portal and plan reviews electronically and will realize dramatically reduced time requirements for the end-to-end process. The shift to electronic processes will also allow all stages to be performed remotely, with enhanced team collaboration.

“e-PlanREVIEW will provide one central source for all departments to review effectively and efficiently,” says Chris Pasinetti, Community Development Director, with the City of Enumclaw. “The increased efficiency we will achieve through the integration of e-PlanREVIEW with PermitTrax allows us to further improve service to our constituents.”

Among the improvements that will be felt immediately by constituents is the revised intake process. By integrating e-PlanREVIEW with PermitTrax, applicants will have the ability to submit plans electronically from anywhere through the Bitco Citizens Connect portal. The integration also streamlines workflows, eliminating the need for redundant entry, and optimizing staff productivity.

“We are excited to bring this leading-edge solution to the City of Enumclaw,” states Esther Byrd, Regional Sales Manager at e-PlanSoft. “The integration of e-PlanREVIEW with PermitTrax will be a key factor in helping the City achieve its goals of improved efficiency in the plan review process.”
