Michael Chegini, CEO of e-PlanSoft™

Dr. Michael Chegini is an accomplished entrepreneur and inventor with educational background in architecture and engineering from various U.S. universities. He holds a postdoctoral degree/certification from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and has earned several licenses and certifications in architectural engineering and construction management. Dr. Chegini has founded multiple companies in the AEC and software industries, including ePlanSoft. He has extensive experience in design, code compliance, and software development. His innovation in Electronic Plan Review software began when his previous company, Owen Group (now a Bureau Veritas company), received a large government contract to conduct plan reviews services for the new World Trade Center building in New York. Since then, he has been awarded over 25 patents and secured numerous government contracts for both plan review and inspection services as well as ePlanSoft’s plan review products. Currently, Dr. Chegini is developing a state-of-art Viewer and integrating AI into his products to enhance the efficiency of community development departments and AECO industry.
