Scott’s career includes significant contributions to multiple high-profile companies and startups. Most recently, he served as Acting CTO at e-PlanSoft™, instrumental in advancing our engineering infrastructure and culture. His prior roles include Solutions Architect at Fraction, Technical Advisor at Trustible, API Architect at Veritone, and CTO at DigiBuild Software, where he transformed a single-developer proto-startup into a thriving development organization.

With a track record of building robust architecture and infrastructure, Scott has consistently demonstrated his expertise in guiding nascent engineering teams and ensuring successful project outcomes. His diverse skill set encompasses Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, GraphQL, REST, CI/CD, Elasticsearch, and others. His experience at industry giants like IBM and Akamai Technologies further underscores his capability to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Scott is also a recognized thought leader. He holds a B.S. in Cybernetics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and continued graduate study in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis, where he published several papers on dynamically evolvable distributed systems and type-safe dynamic Java classes. Scott holds patents in multi-modal document feature extraction and semantic graph search.
