Matthew Abbitt is a seasoned product executive with over 20 years of experience leading technology strategy, innovation, and growth for B2B SaaS companies. At e-PlanSoft, he oversees product vision, strategy, and execution, helping drive innovation in electronic plan review and permitting solutions for government and enterprise customers.
Throughout his career, Matthew has built and scaled product organizations that have delivered more than $1.6 billion in enterprise value for five successful liquidity events. He has launched and grew multiple SaaS and AI-driven products, generating significant ARR growth and expanding market share across industries including energy, utilities, insurance, government and healthcare.
Before joining e-PlanSoft, Matthew served as Chief Product Officer at Irth Solutions, where he led product innovation in AI and satellite-based technologies. He also held executive product leadership roles at ARCOS and Ebix, where he transformed product strategies, expanded market opportunities, and oversaw the growth of product portfolios.
Matthew holds a B.A. in Chemistry and a mini-MBA from Miami University as well as a Juris Doctor degree from William Howard Taft University. He is also the author of Start Predicting in a World of Data Science and Predictive Analytics (2013).
